MEET MASHALL AND VICTORIA!

They sisters y'all.  They are also a couple of all around craft and art mavens if you ask me.

I met them at the Summer Art Festival that was held on Antique Alley this summer.  They had a booth there, and what initially caught my eye was the PIZZA BANNER.  Are these my people?  Oh yeah.  Then I noticed the three very open and friendly faces manning the booth.  I instantly felt at ease to walk on in and talk to these ladies as if I knew them.  I am a bit of an introvert - so thats not always the case!

Mashall lives in Ruston with her wiener dog & attends Louisiana Tech, and Victoria lives here in Monroe with her bunny rabbit & teaches art at West Monroe High School.  She lives right around the corner from me - NICE!  They are not from Monroe, but they've been here since grade school.  They are from San Fransisco, ahhh the city life!  Their dad is from Monroe, so when the family decided to leave San Fransisco for a more affordable city (Y'all - San Fransisco is EXPENSIVE...) their dad brought them on back home.  Can you imagine the culture shock for the two young girls and their city mom?  Well, they are grown now and are still settled right here, so I guess that shows that they liked it here.

So some of y'all might remember the really cool hand-painted magnet that I bought at the art festival, and the hand-painted pizza bow for Tallulah - I go those from their booth!  They have this really ingenious venture called Pint Size Printers.  They are a mobile screen printing service.  They did the design/screen printing on the shirts they are wearing here in these pictures!  So, for an example, at the Summer Art Festival they had made a t-shirt design for the festival and were screen printing the shirts on site.  So basically you could say 'Hey, I want a shirt' and then stand there and watch/help screen print your own shirt!!  I thought this was such an awesome idea!  I've photographed so many weddings, so I thought about the event possibilities there of course - to have a design made for your wedding and then for your guest favors have the mobile screen printing station arrive and make the shirts as the guests walk up.  Now THATS a memorable keepsake!  Heck, you could do it for the wedding showers, bachelorette party, bachelor party.  Birthday parties, anniversary parties, business openings, festivals...the list could be endless!

Find 'em on Facebook too!
